This is the first non portrait in my my Herstory series. Anna’s Hummingbirds (Calypte anna) are permanent residents on the Pacific Coast of California. They stay here even in the winter when no other hummingbirds are present. I see and hear them every day in my hummingbird garden and they are a delight to watch!
